From San Diego Airport/Lindbergh Field
- Turn left at N Harbor Dr
- Turn left at W Laurel St
- Turn Left at Pacific Hwy
- Turn right at Sassafras St towards Long Beach
- Turn left at India St
- Take ramp on the left to I-5 North
- Exit Carlsbad Village Drive and turn left at the end of the ramp.
- Continue on Carlsbad Village Drive, crossing Carlsbad Boulevard / Highway 101 to end – which is Ocean Street.
- Turn right on Ocean Street and continue through two stops signs.
- At the third stop sign, Beach Terrace Inn is on the left, parking across street on right.
From Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) North
- From Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) North
- Take I-405 South to I-5 south, approximately 90 miles
- Exit Carlsbad Village Drive and turn right at the end of the ramp.
- Continue on Carlsbad Village Drive, crossing Carlsbad Boulevard / Highway 101 to end – which is Ocean Street.
- Turn right on Ocean Street and continue through two stops signs.
- At the third stop sign, Beach Terrace Inn is on the left, parking across street on right.
From Los Angeles
- Head west on W Century Blvd
- Turn left on S Sepulveda Blvd
- Take the ramp onto I-105 E
- Take the exit onto I-405 S
- Take the I-5 towards San Diego
- Exit Carlsbad Village Drive and turn left at the end of the ramp.
- Continue on Carlsbad Village Drive, crossing Carlsbad Boulevard / Highway 101 to end – which is Ocean Street.
- Turn right on Ocean Street and continue through two stops signs.
- At the third stop sign, Beach Terrace Inn is on the left, parking across street on right.
From Palm Springs
- Turn right at N Sunrise Way
- Turn left at E Vista Chino
- Turn Right at N Palm Canyon Dr and Continue on CA-111 N
- Take the ramp onto I-10 W
- Exit on the left onto CA-60 w towards Riverside
- Merge onto I-215 S towards San Diego
- Merge onto CA-78 W towards Oceanside
- Exit Vista Way
- Keep left at the fork to continue toward I-5 S and merge onto I-5 S
- Exit Carlsbad Village Drive and turn left at the end of the ramp.
- Continue on Carlsbad Village Drive, crossing Carlsbad Boulevard / Highway 101 to end -which is Ocean Street.
- Turn right on Ocean Street and continue through two stops signs.
- At the third stop sign, Beach Terrace Inn is on the left, parking across street on right.
From Carlsbad Train Depot
- Exit turning right on to Grand Street.
- First light you come to is Carlsbad Boulevard / Highway 101, turn right
- Turn immediately right onto Christiansen Street
- Hotel is at the end of Christiansen Street.
- Turn right onto Ocean Street for parking across from the Hotel.
From Oceanside Train Depot
- Exit the Transportation Center by turning right onto South Tremont Street
- At the intersection of Missouri Avenue, turn left.
- One short block to South Coastal Highway 101, turn right.
- Continue on 101 until a light at Beech Street
- Turn right onto Beech Street to the next stop sign
- Turn left onto Ocean Street and hotel will be just ahead on the right, parking across street.
From McClellan-Palomar Airport
- Exit by turning right onto Palomar Airport Road
- Continue to and take I-5 North – ramp on the right.
- Exit Carlsbad Village Drive off and turn left at the end of the ramp.
- Continue on Carlsbad Village Drive, crossing Carlsbad Boulevard / Highway 101 to end -which is Ocean Street.
- Turn right on Ocean Street and continue through two stops signs.
